We’re thrilled to announce that Dr. Lindsey Kummerer, AuD, CCC-A, has joined our audiology team. With a strong clinical background and advanced training, Dr. Kummerer brings expertise and compassion to every patient.
A Background in Audiology and Research
Dr. Kummerer earned her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from the University of South Florida, where she is also pursuing her Ph.D.
Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Drexel University. During her training, Dr. Kummerer gained valuable clinical experience through externships at Island Audiology in Hawaii and Vitale ENT in Wesley Chapel.
Throughout her education and career, she has been recognized for her excellence, receiving several notable awards, including:
- Best Student Poster Presentation Award, Acoustical Society of America (2025)
- Student Mentored Research Poster Session Travel Award, American Auditory Society (2022)
- Most Outstanding Clinical Skills of Second Year Scholarship Award, University of South Florida (2021)

As a board-certified audiologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, she stays at the forefront of evidence-based care.
